HNBGI Chief Transformation Officer Dilshan Perera recognised at Sri Lanka Leadership Awards 2024

HNB General Insurance (HNBGI) Chief Transformation Officer/General Manager Dilshan Perera was recognised at the Sri Lanka Leadership Awards 2024. In his current role at HNB General Insurance, Dilshan Perera plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s transformation journey. His leadership has been instrumental in integrating innovative technologies and customer centric strategies, shaping the company’s future in a competitive marketplace.

True transformation is led from the top management and as senior leaders, we have a responsibility to simplify processes, innovate products, empower our people, harness technology and drive measurable performance. With over two decades of experience, Dilshan Perera has proven track record in strategic management, digital transformation, strategic marketing, and business development across industries such as life insurance, general insurance, telecommunications, banking, and retail. Prior to this, Dilshan served as Head of InsurTech and Head of Etailing (Digital Retail) at Dialog Axiata PLC, and he co-founded ‘InsureMe.lk’, Sri Lanka’s first digital insurance comparison platform, further showcasing his commitment to transforming industries through innovation, customer-centricity, and the importance of leveraging new technologies to drive growth and he is also a visiting lecturer for post graduate programs at several leading universities, where he shares his expertise across multiple management disciplines.
