Homelands Group hosted high tea on 8 March in honor of International Women’s Day. The event was held at Waters Edge in recognition of the remarkable contribution of all their female staff to the success of the company.

International Women’s Day is observed globally on 8 March every year to celebrate women, their rights and their achievements. Homelands Group prides its self on being an institution that upholds, respects and encourages women empowerment.

Homelands Group has grown by leaps and bounds in the previous years and this event was held to appreciate, acknowledge, and recognise the women who continue to hold key management roles in the establishment.

These women include Homelands Group Directress Harshani Herath, General Manager – Operations and Administration Lanka Jayasinghe, General Manager – Legal Gunasekara and Head of Sales and Marketing Operations Anushi Hettiarachchi.

These women hold major strategic roles in the corporation, and due to their undying commitment and contribution, Homelands Group has made its mark in the area of real estate in Sri Lanka.
