The launch of the Business School of IIHS under the visionary leadership of Dr. Kithsiri Edirisinghe was held recently.

The event was attended by distinguished industry leaders, including Swisstek Aluminium PLC CEO and Director Dr. Tharindu Atapatt u, MBA Alumni Association, University of Colombo President Suraj Radampola. Other notable guests included IIHS Vice Chancellor Dr. Renuka Jayatissa, Dean/Co-founder Dr. Nihal De Silva, former Secretary of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs Dr. Amal Harsha De Silva, Chandima Samarasinghe, and Upali Rathnayake, along with key industry stakeholders.

IIHS Business School seeks to bridge this critical gap by integrating business education with the healthcare sector, equipping graduates with essential leadership, operational, and strategic management skills. At the launch, Dr. Tharindu Atapattu handed over the copies of his book “Everything that you don’t know is all that you know” to the staff of IIHS. The web launch of the IIHS Business School was also a significant item of the day’s agenda. This landmark occasion marks the beginning of a new era, shaping the future of healthcare and business leadership.
