PIM inaugurates eighth MBA batch in UAE

The Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) recently inaugurated the eighth batch of its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in the United Arab Emirates. The ceremony was held in Dubai with the participation of PIM Director Dr. Asanga Ranasinghe. The event was also attended by a large number of professionals associated with both the public and private sectors in the UAE.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Ranasinghe said: “PIM and my personal vision for the institute is to make it the Business School for the new world. I personally believe, therefore, that it is imperative for the programs we offer to be designed to suit the needs of the evolving global markets. PIM is very happy to see the progress that our Alumni are making in the UAE, especially after their thinking has been transformed through the MBA that we offer. Their journey to becoming corporate leaders on global platforms begins with the foundation that is laid through our program”.

PIM, the Business School of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, is the largest university in the country. The MBA conducted by PIM is the most sought-after MBA program in Sri Lanka and the region, with a large and thriving community of learning partners and alumni. The program has been ongoing for more than 40 years and has produced some of the most illustrious business leaders for the country.

PIM extends its MBA program beyond Colombo, with programs conducted in international locations such as Dubai, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Bangladesh.
