University of Jaffna joins CFA Institute University Affiliation Program

The University of Jaffna has become the latest institution to be welcomed into the prestigious CFA Institute University Affiliation Program. 

The University’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Honours in Financial Management degree has been recognised for incorporating over 70% of the CFA Program curriculum, while also placing significant emphasis on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct. This program is designed to position students for success in obtaining the globally respected Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation, widely acknowledged as the gold standard in investment credentials.

The inclusion of the University of Jaffna in the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program signals to prospective students, employers, and the broader financial community that the university’s curriculum is closely aligned with real-world professional practice and well-tailored to preparing students for the CFA Program exams. As part of this program, the University of Jaffna will be eligible for a limited number of CFA Program Student Scholarships each year, providing students with financial support as they work towards earning the CFA charter.

CFA Society Sri Lanka President Aruna Perera, CFA congratulated University of Jaffna on their accomplishment and commented that this significant achievement highlights the dedication of the faculty, and the quality of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Honours in Financial Management degree offered by them.
