WISTA Sri Lanka concluded yet another successful skills development program for the membership in partnership with Pinnacle on 19 September at Jetwing Colombo Seven. The program focused on public speaking and confidence building as WISTA believes in uplifting the skills and competencies of their members to help them grow in their respective careers. The event was conducted by Hisham Alif and Ganga Fernando, renowned trainers from Pinnacle. The workshop facilitated WISTA members to learn best practices in public speaking with several impromptu speeches which assisted many of them to gain confidence and develop their overall personalities to take up challenging roles in their careers. As WISTA encourages and promotes gender parity this event helped members to network and share their success stories to inspire each other. The event was also successful in getting many members to join the Colombo Toast Masters Club to pursue their interests in public speaking and to continuously develop their skills and competencies.
