Workshop on ‘Effective Leadership for the New Digital age’ on 5 March

Leaders in this new age need to inspire, engage and lead with optimism. Digital leadership is about empowering others to lead and creating self-organised teams that optimise their day-to-day operations. Leadership is no longer hierarchical – it needs participation, involvement and contribution from everyone.

NN consulting is organising a half-day workshop on ‘Effective Leadership for the New Digital age’ on 5 March at Hotel Mövenpick, Colombo-03. The training program is conducted by veteran hotelier Nirmalan Nagendra and motivational speaker Farill Farook who are experts in this field and will add value and enrichment to the program.

Nirmalan Nagendra, a veteran hotelier with over 40 years of experience working across international hotel chains is a highly result-oriented professional, a great doer, commercial guru, people person and a firm believer in building a cohesive work environment, and hiring for attitude, Nirmalan was also awarded ‘the commitment to excellence trainer’ for Forte hotels and currently works as an independent consultant for KMPG Sri Lanka.

Farill Farook is a motivational speaker and business psychologist and was awarded the 10 outstanding young persons award in 2017 by Junior Chamber International for the category Moral Leadership for his contribution in inspiring future leaders.

The interactive program will cover many key aspects from understanding emotional intelligence for the new age, tools to inspire and empower others to achieve full potential, decision-making and responding to revolution and conflict.

This is primarily targeted towards managers, professionals front line staff, executives and recommended for executives who are exposed to managing teams.
