LAHES-NUS (National University of Singapore) executive education programs were launched in Sri Lanka, addressing a much-needed requirement in the country for quality developmental programs. The primary objective of offering the highly acclaimed programs in Sri Lanka is to bring global knowledge and expertise to the country, making executive education readily available.
During the year, two LAHES-NUS programs were conducted, which were well attended by a mix of public and private sector participants, representing diverse industries. The programs were designed and delivered by the faculty of the NUS Business School. Both programs were four days in duration and were held at the state-of-the-art campus of LAHES at Level 22, West Tower, World Trade Centre.
LAHES will be offering a range of programs next year, addressing the developmental needs of both the public and private sector employees. The program calendar includes the LAHES-NUS General Management Development Program in February 2013, LAHES-NUS Train the Trainers Program in May 2013, LAHES-NUS Supply Chain Management Program in July 2013 and LAHES-NUS Strategic Human Capital Management Program in September 2013.
These programs are open-enrollment programs, where companies/individuals can register participants at any time, prior to the program. The class size is limited to 35 participants, hence early registrations are encouraged. The programs are highly interactive and experiential in nature, through the use of a variety of learning tools.
LAHES took the initiative to bring the best, globally recognised development programs to our country through the partnership with the NUS Business School. The programs address specific development needs of our country and are customised to fit the participant profiles.
