ACCA Annual Students Conference to be held on ‘From Vision to Impact’ theme

The official Students’ Council of ACCA Sri Lanka will host its sixth Annual Students Conference themed ‘From Vision to Impact’ – featuring a host of world-class Sri Lankan speakers and panellists – on 11 October at Waters Edge.
As the largest global professional accountancy body, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of Sri Lanka has formed the ACCA Students’ Council to host events which add value to young corporates and students to enrich their soft-skills and complement their theoretical knowledge while creating a platform for professional networking.
The conference this year brings together an eminent panel of speakers comprising cricketing legend Kumar Sangakkara, world famous public speaker, trainer/HRD specialist Dananjaya Hettiarachchi, Capital Maharajah Group Director Chevaan Daniel and Metropolitan Director Niranjan De Silva.
A panel discussion will also be held on the topic of ‘Entrepreneurship: The real story behind the success’, which will be moderated by Hayley’s Group Senior Economist Deshal De Mel.
The panel will comprise Kapruka.com CEO and Founder Dulith Herath, Spa Ceylon Co-creator and Director Shalin Balasuriya, Academy of Design Founder Linda Speldewinde and Sri Lanka Country Consultant for Google Asia Pacific Rohan Jayaweera.
The conference this year will be sponsored by a host of eminent organisations comprising the main ALP sponsor the Mercury Institute of Management while CO-ALP sponsors will be CCBT, K-AIMS, Neptune Edification and KBBS.
