APB Sri Lanka felicitates members appointed as bank CEOs

The Association of Professional Bankers of Sri Lanka (APB), the country’s premier organisation for banking professionals, held a special event to felicitate its members who have been appointed as bank CEOs.
The event was held on 25 April at Cinnamon Lakeside. Many Chief Executive Officers of banks operating in Sri Lanka were in attendance at the event along with the Council and the Advisory Committee of the APB. It was a gathering where industry peers recognised fellow bankers who have reached the pinnacle of their professional careers.
The event was held to felicitate the appointments of: Arjun Fernando as General Manager/Chief Executive Officer of DFCC Bank, Dimantha Senevirate as Director/Chief Executive Officer of Pan Asia Banking Corporation, Jonathan Alles as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Hatton National Bank PLC and Nimal Hapuarachchi as General Manager/Chief Executive Officer of SANASA Development Bank PLC.
On behalf of the Council, the new CEOs were presented with commemorative plaques by the President of the Association of Professional Bankers of Sri Lanka Piyal Hennayake. Arjun Fernando was unable to be present due to commitments overseas and his presentation was made on a later date.
