Applications called for provision of free English education for 25,000 school children

Applications are called to provide English education for 25,000 school children in year 2015 under the free English Education program that has been conducted for over a period of 10 years by Mohan Lal Grero, Deputy Minister of Education.
The program which consists of theory and practical activities aimed at improving the accurate and proper use of English language includes grammar and speech, parallel with text books in schools.
It is expected to enroll students for 72 training centers established at electorates of Homagama, Maharagama, Awissawella, Moratuwa, Kaduwela, Kotte, Kesbewa, Ratmalana, Colombo North, Kolonnawa, Colombo East, Colombo West, Colombo Central and Borella.
Parents of Grade 1 to 10 students in Colombo District are requested to send a self-addressed Rs. 10 stamped envelope to the following address on or before 10 November 2014 and obtain an application for enrollment: English for School Students, Mohan Lal Grero Foundation, No. 18, Peter’s Place, Nugegoda.
