Appointment letters awarded to new customer service assistants of People’s Bank

Letters of appointment were awarded recently to the newly-recruited customer service assistants of People’s Bank at a ceremony held under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the BMICH. At the ceremony, 600 new customer service assistants representing all provinces except the Western and Southern Provinces received their appointment letters. The event was attended by the Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, Senior Minister A.H.M. Fowzie, Members of Parliament A.H.M Azwer, J.R.P. Sooriyapperuma, Thilanga Sumathipala, Janaka Wakkumbura, Duminda Silva and Uditha Lokubandara, Chairman of People’s Bank Gamini S. Senarath, members of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer/General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar together with the corporate and executive management, representatives from trade unions and voluntary associations and bank officials as well as the parents of the appointees.
