CA Sri Lanka member Niroshana Seneviratne wins IPM People’s Leader in Finance 2016 award

Chief Internal Auditor/AGM Audit – Hatton National Bank PLC was honoured with the prestigious ‘People’s Leader in Finance 2016’ award by the Institute of Personnel Management (IPM) at a gala ceremony held recently during the sidelines of the annual National Human Resources Conference.

Niroshana, a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) was honoured for his significant contributions towards the finance sphere in transforming the Internal Audit function in strengthening the governance aspect and for uplifting and supporting the performances of his teams.

An old boy of Nalanda College, Niroshana is also a fellow of the Institute of Bankers, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor (USA) and holds a MSc from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

Counting over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, Niroshana had been heading the Internal Audit function in four commercial banks including his last assignment in the Middle East.

Apart from that, Niroshana was appointed the President of the ‘Chief Internal Auditors of Banks Forum’ recently.
