CA Sri Lanka recognises new teaching colleges for 2014

In its capacity as one of the country’s leading tertiary education providers, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) continued to attract prominent teaching colleges from across the country, recognising them as an integral part in delivering the globally recognised curriculum of CA Sri Lanka at a special ceremony held recently at the institute.
Certificates of recognition were awarded to the Academy of Management Education, Inspiro Business School Ltd., and the Institute of Professional Creation Ltd. by CA Sri Lanka President Arjuna Herath recognising them as registered teaching colleges of CA Sri Lanka.
Herath awarded the certificates of recognition to M.M.M. Tariq of the Academy of Management Education, Bandara Dissanayake of Inspiro Business School Ltd. and Manoj Dheerasinghe of the Institute of Professional Creation Ltd. in the presence of Manil Jayesinghe, Chairman of the CA Sri Lanka Education and Curriculum Development Task Force, Sanjaya Bandara, Alternate Chairman of the Education and Curriculum Development Task Force, Aruna Alwis, Chief Executive Officer of CA Sri Lanka and Harsha Gunasena, Chief Operating Officer – Education, Examination and Technical.
The recognition comes just weeks after CA Sri Lanka launched its groundbreaking new curriculum for 2015 which aims to produce chartered accountants who will utilise their specialised financial acumen to spearhead corporates across Sri Lanka and overseas.
