Members who were present from diverse sectors gave their valuable input to the CA Sri Lanka President on a range of initiatives and how the institute can further enhance its facilities and services in keeping with local and global needs.

Rajapakse addressing the members highlighted that in recent years, the Institute had witnessed some major transformations both in quality and quantity.

“While nurturing our members and students, we have to look beyond in our efforts to provide better and enhanced services and facilities for them, who are our primary stakeholder,” he said.

He also stressed that special focus will continued to be given to small and medium-sized entities (SMEs) and small and medium practices (SMP) in the execution of the globally accepted International Financial Reporting Standards, which Sri Lanka adopted from January 2012.
