Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship program, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The Scholarships offer the opportunity to study for a one-year Master’s degree at any of the UK’s leading universities, and are awarded to outstanding established or emerging leaders across a wide range of fields, including development studies, economics and financial regulation, law and criminal justice and governance and public administration.
The program provides a unique opportunity for leaders of the future to build a global network of continuing professional significance and also to establish social, cultural, academic or commercial partnerships with the UK.
Earlier this year the FCO announced a significant increase in the investment it will make to the global Program. We are therefore pleased to be able to offer more scholarships across the globe.
The Scholarships, which are funded by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations, operate in 118 countries worldwide. Awards are typically for a one-year Master’s degree, in any subject and at any of the UK’s leading universities.
Applicants should read the online guidance and demonstrate how they meet the Chevening selection criteria before submitting an application. If they have further questions about the program they can use the contact us function on the website www.chevening.org.
