CMA Sri Lanka signs MOU with LB Finance PLC as an Accredited Practical Training Partner

The Institute of Certified Management Accountants (CMA) of Sri Lanka the National Professional Management Accounting Institution in Sri Lanka, incorporated by parliament Act No.23 of 2009, signed an MOU with LB Finance PLC (LBF).
LB Finance PLC (LBF) is a licensed finance company incorporated in May 1971. LBF is a company in the Group of Vallibel One which is a diversified holding company with strategic investments in financial services, tile and sanitary ware manufacturing and leisure. Backed by a strong financial tradition of over 40 years, LBF offers a portfolio of financial solutions trusted widely by corporate, SMEs and individuals alike. As of 31 March, the company operates a network of 97 branches and 37 gold loan centers totaling to 134 outlets.
CMA has over 18,000 students and 2,200 members. CMA is a member of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) and a member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), which is the world body of professional accountants.
This MOU will provide CMA students an opportunity to obtain practical training in the management accounting & finance field from a recognised business organisation which will give them a foundation to progress in their career, and obtain their membership.
The CMA practical experience component is an essential part of the CMA program and has been developed in accordance with the international standards of IFAC, to meet the growing demands of competitive organisations at both national and international levels.
