Organisations are continually in a state of change. But change remains a challenge for many. Very few organisations successfully crack the code of change. Matheson delves into the complexities of personal change and the parallels needed for successful organisational change. This interactive workshop is designed to help you bring your people through change without a loss of productivity and morale that so often undermine the very improvements that the changes were meant to bring about. It will address key issues that will significantly improve the likelihood of people focused change succeeding in your organisation.

How to manage change in changing times

With the widespread use of the internet change is occurring at a faster pace than ever. Adapting to these new realities of change can be tough. People are changing too and want to think more for themselves rather than being told what to do. Managing people and organisations through change is one of the most difficult challenges we all face. Combine this with the stark fact that only 30% of organisational change is really successful. This workshop which is highly experiential and interactive and  is appropriate for all levels of employees and explores topics like natural resistance to change, differing individual reactions to change, and developing tools to cope with change.

 It will assist you with:

  • Identifying tips and techniques that you can use to motivate others to engage in the   change process. What benefits and opportunities can you identify associated with change?
  • Linking communication strategies with change initiatives. Effective strategies for communicating change to individuals, teams and the organisation as a whole
  • Understanding how we feel about change individually is the key to successful organisational change
  • Anticipating and responding to individual and organisational resistance to change. Overcoming roadblocks to change and effectively engaging the organisation. What is the best way to deal with resistance to change?
  • Developing a simple framework for managing personal and organisational change  Come prepared with pen and paper and a clear idea of what changes you will be managing in 2013. The rest will be done at the workshop.

Who is the workshop for?

This workshop is for people who are either directly affected by change or who want to be able to manage the change process differently in organisations. It will provide very practical support for managing change and at the end of the workshop you will have some clear and practical ways that you can tackle change differently and in a more effective way. Therefore suggested participants would be of all divisions of business community such as production, sales and distribution, marketing, administration, HR, accounting, taxation, etc from senior management, middle management, and sector managers.  Registration for participation can be booked through email: [email protected].
