Dialog’s Pulasthika wins Asian ‘HR Leadership’ award

Pulasthika Wirasinha Kumaratunga, Head of Group Human Resources at Dialog Axiata PLC, was awarded the ‘HR Leadership’ award at the recently-held ‘5th Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards’ in Singapore. The Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards are hosted by Employer Branding Institute, World HRD Congress and Stars of the Industry Group, with a CHRO Asia as a Strategic Partner and endorsed by the Asian Confederation of Businesses. These awards are presented to individuals and organisations who have surpassed several levels of excellence and set an example of being a role model and exemplary leader; individuals behind organisations who care, building these organisations as institutions through organisation development; leadership; innovation and change management approach and a supreme objective of building future leaders. The selection methodology adopted for the ‘HR Leadership’ category is through an assigned global research cell. The cell constitutes of professionals from different parts of Asia. These professionals based on an independent research submit their recommendations to a technical jury where the selections of award winners are decided. The aim of the awards is to recognise the best of the best in the field of human capital management.
