them more productive and successful.
“Being associated with LinkedIn has given us tremendous leverage in the area of sourcing talent. Finding the right talent is a major challenge to many organisations. We saw the use of the internet being far more superior now than before where applicants tend to rely on internet more than other forms of traditional media such as newspapers to search for jobs and also to market themselves to the corporate world. This is one of the key factors that triggered our partnership with LinkedIn, which enabled us to be able to capitalise on this growing trend. This will help us to find the perfect candidates that fit our profile and our job descriptions. LinkedIn has given us access to over thousands of candidate profiles within the social media space across the globe in a matter of minutes,” said Asitha Jayatunga, Head of Group Human Resources.
As a broad-based company operating around the world, this association with LinkedIn allows Expolanka Holdings PLC to find the human resources that provide the key ingredients of success. Expolanka employs over 2,500 staff across 16 countries and the workforce is represented by 24 nationalities.
