The four schools selected to participate in the project are: Ananda College and Visaka Vidyalaya from Colombo and Trinity College and Mahamaya College from Kandy.

YESL is the member franchise holder of Junior Achievement Worldwide (JA Worldwide) World’s largest and fastest growing, young entrepreneur program, focused on students between five and 25 years.  YESL programs are approved by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, and conducts programs in schools and all the universities.

YESL will conduct the worldwide popular company program which guides students to set up true to life companies, where the members are shareholders, and they elect board of directors; president, marketing director, finance director, production/operations director, IT director and CSR director.

They prepare business plans, conduct board meetings, operate bank accounts, maintain all records, prepare annual reports, declare dividends to the shareholders, liquidate the company, to get the exposure of the business world, and develop their presentation and communication skills and to be self-dependent.

YESL President Patrick Amarasinghe thanked Ferrero for their CSR initiative in recognising the importance of this program and focusing on sponsoring these students to be entrepreneurial and job creators, which is a very important contribution to our country.
