Eminent Personal Former Minister of Trade and Commerce, two decades Member of Parliament in the Ampara District and Kuwait Ambassador Attorney-at-Law A.R. Mansoor was conferred an honorary degree for his invaluable serve rendered to mankind. This was the highlight of the 10th General Convocation of South East University of Sri Lanka – Oluvil held at BMICH on Sunday, 20 March. President Maithripala Sirisena participated as Chief Guest in Session II, held under the patronage of South East University Vice Chancellor Prof. M.M.M. Najeem.
Altogether 1,112 graduates from the faculties of Art and Culture, Management and Commerce, Applied Studies and Islamic and Arabic studies were conformed degrees. Here President Maithripala Sirisena conferring the honorary degree to Former Minister A.R. Mansoor.
