Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ltd., (DTTL) said yesterday that leading analyst firm Gartner has recognised the Deloitte member firms (Deloitte) as leaders in business consulting worldwide based on aggregate member firm revenue for the second consecutive year in a new report, Market Share Analysis: Consulting Services, Worldwide, 2011.
According to the report, Deloitte is ranked the leader in business consulting services worldwide among the top 10 global consulting providers, with a 6.1 per cent market share, with US$5.1 billion in 2011 and a growth rate of 14.3 per cent.
The report notes that the Deloitte Americas region is the largest revenue contributor, responsible for 49.3 per cent of the network’s overall aggregate member firm revenues in 2011. Revenue in the Deloitte Western European region contributed 28.4 per cent and the Asia Pacific and Japan region accounted for 14.4 per cent of aggregate member firm revenues.
Gartner reported that the total end-user spending in the Top 10 Worldwide Consulting Service Providers by Revenue in 2011 grew 11 per cent to nearly US$83 billion.
