HIDA Japan concludes ‘The Program on Corporate Management for Sri Lanka’

The aim of the program is for participants to gain hands on experience and knowledge on management philosophies and strategies employed by Japanese companies. The 10 day study program consists of study tours to world renowned Panasonic Museum, Toyota commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology and Toyota Corporation among others. HIDA of Japan is an organisation for human resources development in developing countries to promote technical cooperation through training, experts dispatch and other programs. Through those programs, HIDA aims at contributing to the mutual economic growth of developing countries and Japan as well as enhancing friendly relations between those countries. The program on Cooperate Management for Sri Lanka (LKCM) is one of such management training programs, which is mainly designed for directors and senior managers in Sri Lanka to upgrade their cooperate management capabilities. JASTECA, Japan Sri Lanka Technical and Cultural Association, established in 1984 is a non-profit service organisation and functions as the alumni of HIDA Japan. The Executive Committee and the membership of JASTECA consists of returned trainees of AOTS/HIDA scholarship programs, who have volunteered their services to coordinate scholarship activities and also to disseminate the knowledge and expertise gained in Japan to other Sri Lankans.
