Hilton Worldwide recognised 12 hotels with three awards for their creativity, engagement and commitment to raising awareness and providing opportunities in hospitality.
Hilton Colombo and Hilton Colombo Residences was one of the hotels recognised for the commitment the two properties pledged at the grand Youth Forum which was held at the Hilton Colombo. Hilton Colombo and Hilton Colombo Residences hosted an event that saw 400 students from schools, private educational Institutions and hotel schools receive a firsthand experience of how a hotel operates and also conducted an open forum encouraging students to ask questions from the general managers of the two properties.
Manesh Fernando, General Manager of the Hilton Colombo said, “We are thrilled to receive this recognition of our efforts to educate job seekers about career opportunities in the hospitality industry. Our Team Members continually work together to find creative ways to extend our impact in our community, and the Careers@HiltonLive award is a reflection of our commitment.”
