The Institute of Supply and Materials Management which is the national body for the development of the supply chain profession in Sri Lanka and incorporated by an Act of Parliament and established in 1972 celebrates its 41st Anniversary on 24 October with a get-together of its members at a grand banquet dinner at the Grand Oriental Hotel.
The chief guest at the function will be Sri Lanka Ports Authority Managing Director Capt. Nihal Keppetipola and the guest of honour will be Sri Lanka Standards Institution Director General Dr. L.N. Senaweera.
Over 100 ISMM members employed in the supply chain profession in the public and private sectors together with their spouses are expected to attend this gala function. ISMM members who have not registered so far are advised to do so early to avoid disappointment.
