The World Summit organised by the International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management was held at the Siam Kempinski Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand from 20 to 21
September 2013. The Institute of Supply and Materials Management was represented by a delegation of eight members consisting of Senior Delegate and Past President Gerry Hidelaratchi, President Anil Poweera, Vice Presidents Noel Wickramasinghe, Nalin Silva and Gayani de Alwis, General Secretary K. Asoke Fernando AAL and Council Members Lal Weerasinghe and Sarath Gamage.
