Institute of Supply and Materials Management (ISMM) President Danesha Perera was invited by the Philippine Institute for Supply Management (PISM) as a distinguished resource speaker for ‘SupplyLink 2013’ under the theme ‘Innovation + Collaboration: The keys to global supply management excellence’ held on 06 and 07 March 2013 in Philippines.
The event was to coincide with PISM’s annual exhibition. Speakers representating many countries took part in the event. PISM ultimate objective was to raise the level of supply chain management professional’s skills, knowledge base and make them to face the international competition in the industry.
Participants were given the opportunity to widen their knowledge on networking and business solutions including alternative solutions and value added services available in the market.
PISM expected the leading professional speakers from different countries around the world to share the case studies and success stories with the participants.
The technical and plenary sessions of SupplyLink 2013 encompassed the supply chain management namely procurement, demand management, replenishment, logistics operations, customer service, future trends and opportunities.
