The centre of excellence in management education in Sri Lanka, University of Sri Jayewardenepura honoured 41 professionals from their MBA 2012 batch out of 76 registered candidates with one of the prestigious and the toughest postgraduate qualifications at the convocation held on 29 July at BMICH.
The convocation was presided over by University of Sri Jayewardenepura Chancellor Ven. Prof. Bellanwila Wimalaratana and the convocation address was delivered by Emeritus Professor Nimal Gunatilleke from University of Peradeniya.
Under the noble vision ‘Prosper lives through Education’, the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce at University of Sri Jayewardenepura has designed this MBA program to offer a comprehensive postgraduate academic qualification tied with real life experiences to prepare broad-minded leaders with extended vision for Sri Lanka.
Both students and lecturers have dedicated and sacrificed two years of their life with discipline, perseverance and extremely hard work in attaining this esteemed and most renowned qualification and the University of Sri Jayewardenepura wishes all of them success and satisfaction in their future professional endeavours.
