Kapila promoted as Executive Director at Seylan Bank

General Manager and CEO Kapila Ariyaratne has been promoted as an Executive Director of Seylan Bank. The Board of Directors of Seylan passed the resolution on the appointment on 16 February. Kapila has been the Seylan CEO/General Manager since March 2011. He counts over 30 years experience having worked for several local and international banks acquiring an in depth knowledge of all aspects of banking both in a local as well as in an international context. He is a First Class Honours Graduate of the University of Colombo and is a holder of a Diploma in Business and Financial Administration. Kapila is also the Chairman of Seylan Bank’s subsidiary Seylan Development Plc, and a Director of LankaClear Ltd, Lanka Financial Services Bureau Ltd and a member of the Governing Board of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka.
