Kelani Cable PLC clinches Gold at SLITAD People Development Awards

Kelani Cables PLC the Sri Lanka’s number one brand in manufacturing electrical and communication cables has clinched Gold at the SLITAD People Development – 2013 award ceremony held for the first time at the Water’s Edge. The awards presentation ceremony was organised by the Sri Lanka Institute Training and Development (SLITAD) to recognise the contribution made by Sri Lanka’s corporate sector towards training and development of their workforces.

The criterion for selecting winners was a ten-fold one which included; business strategy, learning and development, people management, leadership and management, management effectiveness, recognition and reward, involvement and empowering, performance measurement and continuous improvement. Kelani Cables PLC is a company which diligently focuses on training and development of its employees in order to ensure an uninterrupted career progress and personal development of the latter. Thus the company was able to clinch the gold at the SLITAD People Development – 2013 awards ceremony, surpassing all other participants.
