NUS Business School, part of the National University of Singapore, acknowledged as one of the finest universities in the Asia-Pacific region, will be conducting the LAHES-NUS Supply Chain Management program from 16 to 19 July 2013 at The Hilton, Colombo.

Supply chain managers/leaders need to constantly deliver sustainable improvements in agility, cost savings, improved quality, excellent customer service and more. They need to be able to answer strategic business questions, identify execution issues and provide forward visibility in enough time to improve business outcomes.

The four-day program is intended to provide that initiation into up-to-date frameworks, tools, techniques and methods essential for performance in the key areas of the supply chain: Logistics, procurement, forecasting, process management, actionable intelligence and others. Whilst most senior managers tend to use their gut instincts to answer supply chain questions, this program will empower them to make the right decisions.

“LAHES-NUS Supply Chain Management program addresses a critical development need in our country. The facilitators of the program are well-qualified faculty from the NUS Business school, who have many years of experience in working with senior executives from private and public organisations located around the world. They will use a mix of learning tools to impart knowledge and attitudes necessary for business,” stated Vindhya Weeratunga, Director/Chief Executive Officer of LAHES.

NUS is ranked second in Asia and placed 29th among the world’s top 100 universities by The Times Higher Education – Quacquarelli Symonds (THE-QS) World University Rankings. LAHES-NUS executive education programs have been delivering immense results to organisations in both the public and private sectors in Sri Lanka.

The program is designed, developed and delivered by the NUS Business School. Registration deadline is 14 May. For details and registration, contact 5566500-2 or 0777261156 or email [email protected].
