Mercury joins hands with ACCA to offer exemptions to AAT students

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Sri Lanka, a member of the fastest growing accountancy body in the world, with their mission to promote excellence in the sphere of higher education, has initiated a scheme to offer exemptions to AAT students.
Undertaking to promote this scheme that will add much value to locally qualified students to further enhance their education is Mercury Institute of Management who is the only accredited tuition provider to achieve platinum status by ACCA and is backed by an industry renowned lecture panel. They will offer this scheme to the market by waving off the registration and subscriptions fees during the month of November.
Under this exemption scheme, students can now complete the ACCA qualification faster by using their knowledge gained from the AAT qualification.
Students who are at the AAT Sri Lanka Foundation Level and have satisfied the minimum entry requirements for the ACCA qualification, and students who have completed AAT Sri Lanka intermediate level will be eligible to claim exemptions from ACCA papers F1: Accountant in Business and F3: Financial Accounting, on the basis of having completed Business Law and Management plus Accounting and Control Systems.
In addition to that, students who have completed the AAT Sri Lanka Advanced Level will also get exempted fromACCA paper F2: Management Accounting, on the basis of having completed Management Accounting and Business Finance.
