MMBL-Pathfinder, a privately-held investment group, has honoured its long-serving employees as a part of a commemoration day event.

“We have always subscribed to the view that loyal, long-serving employees are one of the biggest assets of the company,” MMBL Pathfinder Director/CEO K. Balasundaram said at the event held Peliyagoda river point head office recently.

He said: “This is very important. As a team we honour our employees with the Founder’s Day event and commemorate the 108th birth anniversary of late Deshmanya N.U. Jayawardena, first Sri Lankan Governor of the Central Bank, Senator, banker and financier.

MMBL Group, its employees and family members made arrangements to commemorate the founder’s day with religious ceremonies such as all night pirith ceremony, religious activity and alms giving campaigns.

Long-serving employees appreciation also held as a part of the commemorate day event. Dassanayake awarded as completed of 15 years’ service. Under the 25 years category D.M.M. Dharmasiri and K.A. Nandasena awarded and most important is M.C. Ajith Peiris, M.B. Adhihetty and M.M.P. Silva completed three decade with MMBL Pathfinder.
