The National Mobile Service Provider, Mobitel has come onboard to power the 36th National Conference of Chartered Accountants, with a gold sponsorship for the fifth consecutive year.
The conference, organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka), is one of the most anticipated events in Sri Lanka’s corporate calendar, which surpasses a participation of over 1,500 chartered accountants including high profile business leaders.
This year’s conference will revolve around the theme ‘Catalyst 2015: Collaborate to Compete’, and will be held from 4 to 6 November at the BMICH, Colombo.
Mobitel Senior General Manager Marketing Nalin Perera said his company was humbled to be part of the 36th National Conference of Chartered Accountants for the fifth consecutive year. “This landmark event organised by CA Sri Lanka has played a pivotal role for over three decades, transforming many businesses through financial expertise by garnering insights and solutions for a sustainable corporate bottom line. As the National Mobile Service Provider, it is our pleasure to support significant events such as this which adds great value to the economy of Sri Lanka,” Perera added.
Welcoming Mobitel onboard once again, CA Sri Lanka President Arjuna Herath said that the partnership between the national mobile service provider and the national body of accountants would enhance the standard of the national conference further.
“For the fifth consecutive year, Mobitel is supporting us with a gold sponsorship, and this alone is a testament to the event’s standing. This year too we are expecting a full house as in previous years, and a larger number of participants from here and abroad via the webcast of the conference which is also powered by Mobitel,” Herath said.
