More investment from Singapore on the way

Depending on the success of OTTC, Fonda Global will invest in projects over US$ 3 million, Fonda Global Engineering Director James Siow said.

“We are testing the waters with this one,” he said.

If the venture is successful, more Singapore businesses will also look at Sri Lanka to invest.

“There are over 100 Singapore businesses here; but there is opportunity for 1,000 more. And they are looking at us and our success in the business.”

Within six months, if proven successful, more companies will jump on the bandwagon to invest in Sri Lanka here.
