Motivational seminar ‘Discover the Winner in you’ at The American Center

Farill Farook, motivational speaker and business strategist will conduct a seminar on ‘Discover the winner in you on 25 May from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at The American Center Colombo 03. The seminar is categorised into three segments discovering your gift, developing a winning mind and identifying your level of personality and covers extensive research on nurturing one’s passion and applying a winning mind towards building long term results with tools and strategies

Farill Farook is an optimist and believes every person has greatness within them and helps individuals seek this. His most important message and extensive training is from his own life experiences getting to the other side of career confusion and failure has taught him a valuable life lesson that has inspired him to pass on these learnings to others. Today, Farill has channelled his strengths to become a motivational speaker and leverages his own passion to help people reach their highest potential and growth; he believes that each individual is capable of discovering his or her own passion to pursue a dream and make an impact and contribution to the world, if one has the right support and tools. 

His signature workshop ‘Discover the winner in you’ is highly regarded and is based on his own formulas and success story that could be applied to any person to achieve success. Farill commenced his career as an entrepreneur at the age 20 with three of his friends collaborating with Sri Lanka’s first incubator. The venture included transmitting Sri Lanka’s first online elections results live across the web as well as mobile (WAP). The company’s main focus was developing an e-learning platform which was tested, launched with a leading marketing body in South Asia and then sold to a foreign entity. 

Being a passionate marketer, he moved into advertising and public relations managing key corporate accounts which consisted of leading local brands as well as multinational accounts. His other stints include heading marketing and sales at several service and product based companies. In 2007, Farill moved to California, USA, with a mission to further explore opportunities and reach one’s full potential. He worked as an Assistant Manager at Oak Shell in Calabasas gaining valuable experience in customer relationship management and service marketing. 

At present he is also a facilitator and trainer and has been conducting public and corporate programs and is also a much sought after coach for peak performance, public speaking and personality development having trained students, entertainers, professionals, entrepreneurs to CEOs. His vision speaks volumes for itself today – he is a successful entrepreneur who always believes in pursuing your dream and believes each individual is their own best inner counsellor and coach, and sometimes needs another’s help to get started.
