National HR Conference 2014 (NHRC 2014), South Asia’s largest HR event organised by IPM Sri Lanka will take place on 18 and 19 June 2014 at the BMICH, Colombo. This was announced at the media briefing held on Wednesday, 28 May at the Members’ Lounge of IPM Sri Lanka amidst a packed audience that comprised Council Members of IPM Sri Lanka, academia, event sponsors and representatives from the print and electronic media.Among those present at the media briefing included; IPMSL President Samitha Perera; IPMSL Vice President and NHRC 2014 Chairman Rohitha Amarapala; IPMSL CEO Dyan Seneviratne; NHRC 2014 Technical Committee Chairman Dr. Asoka Jinadasa; HR Service Providers’ Exhibition Committee Chairman Wg. Cdr. Manoaj Keppetipola; National HR Excellence Awards and IPM Sri Lanka People Leaders’ Awards Chairman Ajith R. De Costa; The Great HR Debate Chairman Bathiya Hettiarachchi; IPMSL Hony. Secretary Shanaka Fernando; and Sri Lanka Telecom PLC Chief Enterprise & Wholesales Officer, K.A. Kiththi Perera, who represented the Strategic Partner of NHRC 2014 – Sri Lanka Telecom. NHRC 2014 is the flagship event organised by IPM Sri Lanka, the Nation’s Leader in Human Resource Management. The event is regarded as the most inclusive learning forum for the HR community and attracts over 1000 delegates from across a multitude of organisations; public and private sector companies, universities, government departments, NGO’s and other entities from Sri Lanka and the South Asian region.The event presents a fitting occasion for the practitioner to gain invaluable insights into emerging strategic and operational trends in the sphere of HR. Besides invaluable learning opportunities, the Conference affords an ideal forum to connect with professionals from multiple disciplines, indulge in enriching and constructive conversation and to gain new insights into the changing HR landscape.
