Omega Line Ltd., a group of leading export oriented garment factories in Sri Lanka becomes the overall runner-up in the Great HR Quiz 2016 organised by the Institute of Personnel Management (IPM).
Omega Line clinches the winner’s award in the apparels and clothing category also at the same event.
Organised by the IPM for the third consecutive year, the event was held at Galadari Hotel, Colombo with Deputy Minister of State Enterprise Development Eran Wickramaratne as the Chief Guest.
Great HR Quiz is annually organised and conducted by the IPM with the intent of updating knowledge in Human Resources amongst professionals in the sphere, recognising them and nurturing cordial relationships within them.
This time around Omega Line secured the two awards after competing with 53 organisations that represented leading government institutions and private companies.
Kosala Perera (leader of winning team) commenting on the recognition gained by the company at Great HR Quiz 2016 said human resources strength of Omega Line group of companies is over 13,000.
