All of us joined Rotary to get involved and make a difference to each and every individual whom we come across through ‘Service Above Self’. “As per the Rotary International theme for this year, we as Rotarians will put our effort to live with the discipline of ‘Engage Rotary, Change Lives’ in every way to strengthen this organisation in order to help mankind. I am sure that we can change lives by giving back to the society as much as possible. Thus making the ‘habit of giving’ instead of ‘habit of getting’ would definitely create a world where everybody can live in peace and harmony.’ He added: “Let each of us uphold the ideal of ‘Help ever, hurt never’ and contribute our bit to make the world order politically powerful, socially stable, economically efficient and spiritually strong.” In addition to all these he managed to allocate time for humanitarian work with his involvement through Rotary.
