Sandunika Wattearachchi was awarded the Founder President Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala Gold Medal for the Best Overall Performance at the November 2013 Examination of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA) at the Graduation Ceremony held on 22 September 2014.
University of Moratuwa Vice Chancellor Prof. Ananda Jayawardane, Chief Guest congratulates Sandunika together with CMA President Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala. Sandunika also received the Canadian High Commission scholarship for school leavers awarded by CMA for her performance at the GCE Advanced Level and special achievements in school. This is the first occasion that a scholarship student received the Gold Medal for the Best Overall Student.
