MEGAMIND 2012, the first inter-company quiz competition organised by SLASSCOM (Sri Lanka Association of Software and Services Companies) will be held on 26 July at the Park Street Mews Warehouse.
The quiz competition will be followed by a networking session for IT/ BPO professionals.
“We are delighted to launch MEGAMIND this year with over 50 teams from the IT/ BPO industry competing against each other to win the coveted MEGAMIND 2012 championship.
The winning team will walk away with a cash prize of Rs.50,000. The teams that win second and third places will receive cash prizes of Rs.30,000 and Rs.20,000 each respectively. We encourage all IT/BPO industry professionals to be part of this exciting event,” said SLASSCOM Board member Ruwindhu Peiris.
SLASSCOM’s drives our national goal of becoming the number one industry to lead Sri Lanka to the knowledge economy while achieving the target of US$1 billion in revenue and employment to over 100,000 by 2015. MEGAMIND will also facilitate a knowledge sharing session on ‘disruptive innovation’ by Leapset CEO Mani Kulasooriya based in the Silicon Valley.
