SLIIT career day concludes on successful note

With the objective of providing employment opportunities and internships for third and fourth year students, the faculty of SLIIT recently organised a career day at its campus in Malabe. With representatives from 40 different companies, students were able to meet industry specialists to discuss career prospects and industry trends. MAS, Brandix i3, Dialog, Mobitel, Millennium IT, Orange IT, WSO2, Virtusa, IFS, hSenid, CodeGen International, Leapset and NDB were some of the firms which participated at the SLIIT career day.

“We conduct career days, as a platform to provide students with a chance to meet industry specialists, learn about the business and understand industry expectations. Recruitment for internships, mock interviews and personality development sessions were also conducted to better equip students for their career pathways,” commented SLIIT President and CEO Professor Lalith Gamage.
