Sri Lanka needs a new legal framework for its growing social enterprise sector, says Good Market founder Dr. Amanda Kiessel.
Dr. Kiessel was speaking at an evening talk on the issues faced by social enterprises in Sri Lanka, held last night at the British Council. Other speakers included iProbono’s Sri Lankan Representative Aritha Wickramasinghe and the Bar Association of Sri Lanka’s President Upul Jayasuriya. The panel was chaired by Selyna Handlooms’ Business Development Director Selyna Peiris.
