Target Resource partners Industrial Development Board in ‘Winning Together’

The Industrial Development Board (IDB) and Target Resource Ltd. joined hands on 9 October to bring out true leaders in the industrial sector of Sri Lanka. The ‘Winning Together’ workshop, which was held at the Sri Lanka Tourism Board, Colombo 03 concentrated on developing leadership skills, motivation, managing change, mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence (EQ). Approximately 100 enthusiastic directors and assistant directors of IDB were present during the sessions of learning and development. The workshop included lectures, presentations and team activities that brought out the leadership qualities and strategic thinking needed to overcome hurdles faced at the workplace. ‘Winning Together’ saw amazing enthusiasm and interaction from the audience combined with a knowledgeable and passionate teacher in founder, CEO and lead facilitator of Target Resource, Deepanie Perera, who contributed tremendously to the successful outcome of the workshop. She is a trainer, lecturer, coach, mentor, writer, speaker and international researcher. She has not only addressed several local and global conferences but has also paved the way for many successful careers through her training over the past decades. The approximately 100 directors and assistant directors who took part in the sessions provided excellent feedback and were extremely satisfied with the level of learning. ‘Winning Together’ is just one milestone in the long road towards climbing the people ladder of success. At a time when Human Resource Management and EQ are gaining vast importance, leadership skills are in high demand while strategic thinking and motivation are crucial.
