Toastmasters of Sri Lanka, District 82 is organising ‘Toastmasters Road Show Negombo’ on 14 March from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Municipal Council Auditorium Negombo with veteran champion speakers who have represented the country in the international arena, scheduled to attend. They will share the importance of communication and leadership skills in day-to-day life.
Many top level Toastmasters of District 82 will represent this occasion. The audience will get the golden opportunity to witness the winning presentation of the first ever Sri Lankan to be crowned World Champion of Public Speaking by Toastmaster Dananjaya Hettiarachchi.
He survived seven rounds of a competition in six months which included 33,000 competitors from around the world. He and eight other finalists competed at the Toastmasters annual convention 2014 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He won the first place for his awe-inspiring speech ‘I See Something’.
‘Toastmasters Road Show Negombo’ is organised especially for the benefit of the employees and students in and around Negombo.This event is free of charge and will help to develop communication and leadership skills and instill courage to change.
It is being held with the support of able Toastmasters of FTZ Toastmasters and Negombo Toastmasters.
