Last year too, WiLAT Sri Lanka organised their inaugural walk under the theme ‘Striking a Balance in Logistics and Transport’ with the primary objective of creating awareness and promoting gender diversity in logistics and transport which is perceived to be male dominant.

Uniting millions around the world for a greener tomorrow, Earth Hour is testament to our power to protect our planet.

The walk is organised on World Maritime Day which falls on 24 September during which Colombo International Maritime Conference (CIMC) will also be held.

The walk will comprise of an array of fun filled activities and it will surely be a morning packed with entertainment. There is also a float competition among several universities on the underlined theme.
