The Achievers chapter of Business Network International was launched on Friday 3 June at an event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at OZO, Colombo. This is the third successful Sri Lankan chapter representing BNI worldwide with a representation from a diverse field of industries.
With over 190,000 members in 7,300 plus chapters worldwide, BNI is the largest business networking 
organisation in the world. In 2015 alone, BNI members generated millions of referrals resulting in over $9.3 billion in closed business worldwide. In BNI, your network is one of your greatest assets.
BNI networks are spread out in over 64 countries worldwide, so there are plenty of options when looking to visit one of our 7,300+ chapters. BNI offers members the opportunity to share ideas, contacts and most importantly, business referrals. BNI® Achievers Members meet every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the FTMS Global Institute, Colombo 04 for a weekly meeting.
“What is unique about BNI is that only one member can represent a specific field, which leaves no room for competition within one chapter. Prospective members can visit two meetings free of charge prior to joining the chapter. They can then witness the proceedings of the meeting and decide if it is a right fit for their venture. Competitors of current members will not be able to be part but will be able to join another chapter if that particular chapter is not already represented by their respective field,” said the Ambassador for BNI Sri Lanka, Anjana Gunatillake.
