Seylan Bank new Chairman assumes office

Nihal Jayamanne, President’s Counsel and Senior Independent Director of Seylan Bank assumed duties as its new Chairman, while Ishara Nanayakkara took up position as Deputy Chairman of the bank.  

It is the unanimous view of the management that a personality of Jayamanne’s stature would undoubtedly contribute immensely to Seylan Bank’s continued growth within Sri Lanka’s financial industry, as he takes up his challenging role.
