99X Technology wins Arch of Europe Gold Award for Quality and Technology

99X Technology became the first-ever software company in Sri Lanka to win the prestigious Arch of Europe Gold Award for Quality and Technology. The award was handed over to 99X Technology CEO Mano Sekaram at the BID International Quality Convention 2012 held in Frankfurt, Germany earlier this week.



Organised by Business Initiative Directions (BID), the awards ceremony and convention recognised and rewarded the efforts of companies from 48 countries from around the world. Established in 1986 and based in Madrid in Spain, BID’s primary objective and focus is towards sharing a culture of quality in leading companies worldwide. Each year BID has been recognising the quality efforts of many leading organisations in the world. In fact, BID is currently the most important private organisation in the world presenting a Quality Award.

Commenting on the award winners, BID President and CEO Jose E. Prieto stated, “The awarded companies are symbols of commitment to leadership, technology and innovation, making them models for others in their sectors.”
